| Description | A hand-woven linen runner (rushnyk) was originally used to hang over an icon. Each end is decorated with a woven 'herringbone" pattern in pink, dark green, purple, white, dark blue, red, light blue, yellow, and dark brown. Fringes on both ends. A loop was sewn onto one side to help it hang over an icon. The initials "Л. П." [L. P.] in Cyrillic are embroidered in a dark blue thread in one corner. |
