Embroidered blouse
Title | Embroidered blouse |
Description | Embroidered women's blouse. Hand-sewn peasant style with raglan sleeves and fitted cuffs. Cross stitched red and black geometric pattern appears on the sleeves, around each cuff, and on a front placket below the neckline. The neck is trimmed with a thin eyelet lace through which a thick thread was originally strung to gather the neckline. Each cuff is fastened with 2 snaps. The red embroidery thread appears to have run during washing and has tinted the fabric pink with some darker red blotches. |
