Description | Embroidered square tablecloth on cotton and polyester blend cream-coloured, wide weave fabric. The pattern is created in cross stitch and features a multi-colour border of stylized rosed, trumpet flowers and other types of blossoms intertwined with a leafy vine. The edges of the cloth have been finished with a red hem stitch and threads have been pulled to create a fringe all the way around. Written on tape, affixed to the back side is the following: ''From Gabriel Takai's wife, Vukovar, October 1987.'' |
