He had two Team Canada hockey jerseys with him. A local fellow told Brian he could get him some local jerseys as a trade. This T-shirt is what he received in exchange for one of the jerseys. It was supposedly worn during an international game.<br />

This T-shirt is as an example of exchange between Canada and USSR during the Soviet era. Also, in Brian&#039;s own words, &quot;an example of how naive Canadian student can get stuck with a damaged shirt in exchange for a perfectly good hockey jersey.&quot; In those days, it was much more difficult to contact and interact with official organizations. </a>]]></dcterms:provenance>
