White, cotton, woven rushnyk with horizontal red stripes and embroidered red diamonds at each end. Warp is white. Weft is white, red. Machine finished edges. Embroidery stitch: reverse satin stitch (nyzynka).
Embroidered rushnyk that hung over the top of the icon (UF2013.045.a). Diamond cross stitch motifs all around the long edges with two rows of matching motifs on the short edges. Rushnyk has been folded with two pleats. Colours: red, black, yellow.
